Dear Patients, I hope you are well.
For those who have seen me in surgery in the last year, you may have noticed my bike! I have been training as hard as possible to get fit for a 500 mile cycle to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease. I will be part of a team of 6 cyclists, who will collect the match-ball for the 6-Nations Rugby from Murrayfield 48 hours prior to kick-off (10th February) and deliver it to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff (12th February) having ridden over 500 miles. The other cyclists are former rugby international Rob Wainwright, round-the-world record-breaking cyclist Mark Beaumont, Radio 2 DJ OJ Borg, Global Cycling Network Presenter Jon Cannings and ultra-cyclist Rus Kelsey.
